24 Oct LA – Day 3
An army marches on its stomach and all that. Brekkie at John O Groats on Pico (widely regarded as best breakfast in LA). It didn’t disappoint. Sounds strange but one of the best things about America is the French toast for breakfast.
Some last minute spit ‘n polish.
And over to Blum and Poe for the amazing Dirk Skreber show. We’ve been fans of his for quite a while. These mixed media pieces were stunning, he uses strips of foam tape to describe the figure.
We visited Shepherd Fairey’s Studio 1. I didn’t take any photos as I didn’t feel it appropriate to photograph another artists space and put it online so I took this random shot from the web. Thanks of course to Dan for the tour (and the goodies).
Mmmm more food. Masa’s in Echo Park.
Back on the road. These photos accurately describe my blurry mindstate.
